Lowvelders connect with nature during fun run

A fun run recently held at the Green Valley Estate by the Greater Riverside Biodiversity Initiative saw family and friends come together for a fun morning connecting with nature.

The second Greater Riverside Biodiversity Initiative (GRBI) Fun Run, held on Saturday April 27, brought together families, fitness enthusiasts and nature lovers for a memorable celebration of urban biodiversity.

The run was held at the Green Valley Estate. Amid the city’s bustling developments, the participants connected with nature and took advantage of the opportunity to foster a deeper sense of community. From children’s laughter to the determination of runners, the event exemplified the power of collective action in nurturing our environment.

The Riverside CID in partnership with Green Valley Estate is championing sustainability and interconnectedness, and the GRBI Fun Run is a beacon of unity and environmental stewardship. The next fun run will take take place on June 29.
