Mbombelans have Bajama fun in aid of Pro-Life’s furries

All of the event’s contributions will go towards taking care of the rescued animals at Pro-Life Pet Rescue Centre.

Goat n Hare and The Pub hosted a Bajama Party with live music in Mbombela on July 26, to raise funds for Pro-Life Pet Rescue.

This organisation depends on donors and special events to support it, not only to feed the animals, but also to afford its day-to-day running costs.

According to Pro-Life’s Karin Erasmus, the Bajama Party provided locals the opportunity to donate any pet food or cash they could afford.

“We use different methods we can think of to source funds in order to look after animals in distress. Some of them need some medical care due to the haggard and abusive situations they were found in, and that, too, is costly.”

Erasmus thanked the large crowd and the event’s organisers for making it one to remember.

She also thanked the artists who performed and The Pub for offering its venue, proving how local businesses are always keen on supporting good initiatives.

On behalf of Pro-Life, she called on local businesses, and even those in the surrounding area, to support the organisation by donating food or money, or even just visiting the centre to play with the animals.
