More than 500 men attended the 2024 Mighty Men Conference Lowveld, which was held under the theme 'The Lion of Judah Roars'.
The fifth Mighty Men Conference Lowveld (MMCL) was successfully held at Klipspringer Lodge over the weekend of October 25 to 27.
Over 500 men from across the Lowveld attended a Holy Spirit-filled weekend, and their family members joined them for the service on Sunday.
The conference, which started on Friday, October 25, under the theme ‘The Lion of Judah Roars’ with a sermon by its spiritual co-ordinator, Johan Fullard, led to about 100 men and boys committing their lives to the Lord.

Fullard said the Mighty Men Conference’s founder and leader, Angus Buchan, would be proud of the fact that these men would be restored as kings, priests and prophets in their homes, loving their families and reflecting Biblical values. “It was a blessing to see men bring their sons to attend, as well to inspire the future generation of disciples of Jesus,’’ he said.
The conference was also attended by the Airlink Pumas, of whom some gave their personal testimonies of what it meant to be a rugby player and serve the Lord. They also encouraged the men to never give up and to persevere in their faith in God.
The Afrikaans gospel singer, Danie Botha, blessed the crowd with a live performance with the MMCL band. A holy communion service was held on Saturday morning, followed by a car exhibition, with a testimony of Martin de Lange, which was well received by all attending.

Henk Kleinschmidt, who closed the conference on Sunday, made a call that there is a need for a Joshua generation to stand up and be counted for Christ.
The conference was a success. It would not have been possible without God’s leading and the assistance of the committee, Kobus Pretorius and Andrew Duncan. They thanked all the people who had attended and encouraged them to join a church.
