Electricity will be cut for 32 hours in parts of Mbombela to install switchgear
The installation may be postponed due to the rainy weather.
The City of Mbombela (CoM) Department of Energy has informed residents of interrupted electricity supply from 09:00 on Wednesday, November 20 until 17:00 on Thursday, November 21.
Residents should take note that the electricity supply will be interrupted at West Acres Substation (Block 14), and affect West Acres, The Rest Nature Estate, Sonheuwel, Stonehenge, Geelhout Avenue and surrounding areas, in order to allow the installation of new switchgear and do maintenance work on their substation equipment.

Macadamia Hospital (MCare Nelspruit), Tshwane University of Technology, Nelspruit Primary, Mediclinic Nelspruit and others will be without power.
