Farm attack in Potloodspruit leaves one dead and one injured

A farm attack at the Finsbury Smallholdings outside Lydenburg has left one person dead and another seriously wounded.
The attack, which occurred today, Monday, December 2, claimed the life of a domestic worker and left another with panga injuries.
According to authorities, two suspects fled the scene and are currently at large. A ‘be on the lookout’ (BOLO) alert has been issued for them as police intensified efforts to track down the perpetrators.
One of the suspects is a farm worker who was still employed when the attack was launched.
The Lydenburg SAPS confirmed the incident and said that an investigation is still under way.
The motive for the attack remains unclear and details surrounding the incident are limited at this stage. The police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to come forward.
