WATCH: King of the green: Lions take over Skukuza golf course

A pride of lions decide to invade the golf course at sunrise this morning, June 18.

As the saying goes, the early bird catches the birdie.

And that could not be more true for greenkeeper Jean Rossouw this morning, June 18, when he spotted a pride of lions on the course at the Skukuza Golf Club at the Nr1 fairway.

Rossouw shared this video with Lowvelder.

A pride of lions – four males and three females – decided to take to the Skukuza golf course this morning.

With the sounds of the hadedas in the background, this scenario surely created a wonderfully wild African scene. And by the looks of it, the pride decided to just embrace the beautiful sunrise in the Kruger National Park.

“It was just after 06:00 this morning when I spotted them while doing my routine checks on the course and sending our workers out.”
