CANSA Mbombela hosts sponsor information session

CANSA Mbombela hosted the event to provide feedback to supporters and share some of their plans for 2026.

To strengthen the bond between CANSA Mbombela and the community, the organisation recently hosted a specialised feedback and briefing session to honour its supporters and map out the year ahead.

Organised by Rinella Jansen van Vuuren, the event was more than a mere thank you. It also focused on fostering transparent dialogue between CANSA and its corporate partners.

“We wanted to engage with our sponsors regarding last year’s milestones and brief them on our planned events for this year. The session provided an opportunity to identify projects or campaigns that will best align with their own goals for participation or sponsorship,” Jansen van Vuuren said.

Apart from corporate updates, the session served as a platform for community networking, where residents, sponsors and volunteers could get to know each other and to ensure a unified front in the fight against cancer.

The success of this session underscored the importance of local collaboration.

By maintaining these close ties with businesses and residents, the organisation ensures critical support services continue to reach those affected by cancer across the region.

CANSA Mbombela is preparing a packed calendar with fundraising and awareness drives.

“We are looking forward to hosting all the events this year, and working with the current sponsors while calling on local businesses to partner with us,” Jansen van Vuuren concluded.
