Hoërskool Rob Ferreira and Uplands College demonstrated exceptional skill and sportsmanship on Friday 17 and Saturday April 18 during a thrilling series of winter sport fixtures.

Across the netball courts, on the rugby fields, and on the hockey Astro of Rob, the two White River schools brought high energy and competitive spirit.

Rob dominated the rugby and netball in the lower age groups. The schools’ girls teams shared the spoils on the Astro, but Uplands boys’ hockey teams made a clean sweep.

In the first team matches, Uplands reigned supreme, winning the netball, rugby, and girls’ and boys’ hockey matches.

The first team rugby match was a high-scoring affair, with Uplands securing a 39-27 victory.

Uplands girls first hockey team scored a 6-0 win over Rob Ferreira, and the Uplands boys won 15-0.

The first netball team of Uplands College were too strong for Rob, winning 26-13.
