Pianist Charl du Plessis, bassist Werner Spies and drummer Peter Auret brought their Bach & Beatles show to the Emnotweni Arena on September 9. The band is known for its innovative and refined art of crossover music.

Show blends iconic hits with Bach

In Bach & Beatles, iconic hits such as “Yesterday”, “Hey Jude” and “A Hard Day’s Night” are set alongside the timeless music of J.S.

Bach, including the “Toccata in D” and “Air on a G String”. The similarities and contrasts between these diverse styles are highlighted through fresh arrangements in swing, blues and bossa nova, delivering international-standard entertainment for the connoisseur.

The three masters once again proved why they are masters of their musical inventions and were also previously awarded a Kanna Award for best music production at the KKNK Festival.
