Nelspruit Primary School crowns its 2025 top stars

It was a fitting end to what has been a top year for the learners of Nelspruit Primary.

Nelspruit Primary School recently celebrated its brightest stars of the year during the school’s annual Recognition Awards Ceremony on November 13, also honouring the outgoing Grade Seven learners.

The school handed out top sport and academic awards to recognise the hard work that was put in throughout the year. “Our learners proudly received their graduation certificates, marking an important milestone that reflects their hard work, growth and dedication throughout the year,” the school said.

“A heartfelt thank you to our amazing teachers for your commitment, care and guidance in helping our young learners reach their full potential. And a big thank you to our parents for your unwavering support and for cheering our learners on every step of the way.”

Grade Seven learner Kaylynn Swart was undoubtedly the brightest star of the evening, being handed the dux scholar award and also the top award in six subjects – English, Afrikaans, mathematics, natural science, social science and technology. She was also the joint recipient of the Headmaster Award along with Khairulhasan Ismail.
