Gary Chapman’s book The Five Love Languages was written in the early nineties and has given many a deepened perceptions of how love can be expressed from one person to another.
Chapman explains that love can be expressed in five ways.
The five love languages are:
- Gifts
- Quality Time
- Words of Affirmation
- Acts of service
- Physical Touch
He calls these five ways “love languages” and says that people should remember to focus on using the love languages that loved ones like to receive, as opposed to the language that the giver likes to give.
