There we have it - your five week plan to becoming a jogger. It's the season to be slimmer and you can now hit the road with our complete five week jogging plan.

Nelspruit Post has challenged our readers to partake in a very exciting 5-week jogging challenge. We have reached our fifth and final week and participants have completed their first five kilometers on Sunday – congratulations!

Week 1

Week 5’s schedule looks like this:

Monday – Walk briskly for 30 minutes
Tuesday – Jog for 30 minutes
Wednesday – Walk for 30 minutes
Thursday – Jog for 30 minutes
Friday – Walk for 30 minutes
Saturday – Take the day off
Sunday – Run 5 kilometres

As this is our final week, see if you can beat last week’s time on your 5k!
