Lots of prizes up for grabs at golf day

A hand-printed Joost van der Westhuizen Blue Bulls jersey, a signed Pumas jersey by the team, cricket bats signed by Jacques Kallis and a Proteas jersey signed by Graeme Smith are just some of the items up for grabs.

Healing Wings will hold its first-ever charity golf day on Thursday July 9 at Nelspruit Golf Club to raise money to conduct projects and outreaches relating to addiction and prevention.

It is also to sponsor individuals who are unable to afford it. “What we are basically looking for is people booking a four-ball or a hole, or to donate some prizes on the day,” said managing director of Healing Wings, Giles Fourie.

There will also be great prizes for the day like a R4 000 Makro voucher, R2 000 Valencia voucher, a R1 000 voucher that has been donated by Genesis Capital, BMW golf bags and lots more. “We are sponsoring a four-ball for the Mpumalanga Golf Academy and also for four caddies to play. At the end of the day it is for a good cause to raise awareness and is for sure worthwhile.”
