Chippers and guessers walk away with golfing prizes
Participants in the Du Toit, Smuts & Mathews Phosa/Lowvelder golf day also contested games on the side of the main action last week.
Golfing got a rugby twist on Friday of last week when Du Toit, Smuts & Mathews Phosa and Lowvelder hosted their annual Golf Day.
Mark Bam and Meiring van der Merwe managed to win the score prediction competition.
Both correctly guessed the winning score for the Springboks’ World Cup Rugby match against Scotland on Saturday of 34 to 16.
They were spot-on and won a hamper and month’s subscription to Lowvelder each.
The “chip a goal” competition was won by Jakkie van Heerden and Louis Koster.
