Here athletes will be tested to the utmost

Warriors come and go. Legends stay forever.

The Legends League designed by K-Fit Kettlebell and Functional Fitness will test competitors’ ability to perform under extreme, mental challenging conditions and workload, testing participants’ strength and stamina. It will also test their will to win and their ability to adapt and work with others, even opponents in finish-ing the battle.

It is one of the toughest physical and mental challenges ever presented in South Africa and a first for the Lowveld. It is based on kettlebell and functional disciplines that will see competitors work through a week of combined exercises, workouts and challenges to accumulate the highest score and obtain a place in the final event to claim the title as the ultimate victorious legend.

How will it work?
• There will be 16 exercises to be completed
• Five days under the watchful eye of a panel of judges
• The disciplines in this event are designed to be achievable by any conditioned athlete, although the exercises will push you to your limits and beyond
• Just to take the competitor to a ultimate mental and physical test, during the week, there will be three curve balls that are going to be a real thorn in the competitors’ flesh.

The final day’s obstacle course
The top 10 men and woman from the respective categories will tackle this obstacle course to get the best time and then be crowned the Ultimate Legend. The course is 500 metres long with 20 obstacles. This will be temporally erected if no permanent piece of land can be allocated to the Legend League. This obstacle course will be the cornerstone of the Legend League. It is an international military obstacle course.
