Lots of Christmas cheer as bowlers have a ball on the green
Jingle bells! Jingle bells! Jingle all the way!

Nomad Bowls had their year-end Christmas party and last outing for 2015 at White River Bowling Club on November 29.
National president of Nomads Bowls Southern Africa, Jerry Gertzen has joined Lowveld and will be situated in Mbombela.
It is a huge honour to have him in here. Each bowler had to bring a can of food for the food bank and stationery that will be donated to needy children. The food will be donated to Hosanna Care Centre. Della Peplow collected the goods and gave the players some information about the children at Hosanna.
After round one the bowlers played a spider and funds were raised that will be donated towards a worthy cause. Rodger and wife Sandy Wansbery won the prize for closest to the spider.
The raffle was won by number 108 which belonged to Larry Ireland and the corner to corner was won by Anet Stassen. Marion Robertson was the best dressed with her angel outfit. The day ended with a braai and socialising.
