Penryn conquer Uplands in friendly
Cricket enthusiasts of Penryn and Uplands colleges took to the fields last week for the annual staff cricket match.
Although Penryn staff beat Uplands in the friendly T20 cricket match, the purpose of these fixtures is to strengthen the relationship between the two schools. Normally there is fierce rivalry between the schools when the teams take on each other, but the staff matches are fun occasions where they enjoy each other’s company rather than focus on the scoreboard.
