Locals put pedal to the metal for CANSA
Not only was it a fun-filled day for the whole family, but over R16 000 was also raised for CANSA.

According to organisers, The Grove One-day Classic that was hosted earlier this year in Mbombela was incredibly successful, considering it was the first of its kind.
Not only was it a fun-filled day for the whole family, but over R16 000 was also raised for CANSA. This was part of its aim as well as to raise awareness about the disease and CANSA.
The organisation does amazing work for people who have been diagnosed with cancer and for their families.
“These days everyone knows at least someone who has beaten cancer, is fighting it or who has lost someone.
“It needs as much help and financial support as possible,” said Sam van Maanen of TBC Bestmed Club Nelspruit.
“We hope to grow the event into a fun-filled day that families can look forward to as well as to help the young, up-and-coming cyclists to grow as they improve their cycling,” Van Maanen said.
