Warriors! It’s go time!
The time has finally arrived for warriors of the Lowveld to compete in South Africa's greatest obstacle race, The Jeep Warrior Race powered by Reebok.

This weekend thousands of competitors will take on the bratz, rookie, commando and black-ops events.
After months of planning, the course is complete and everything is set for this spectacular race.
Some people will tackle their fears literally, as they climb, jump, swing and run over them in the quest to become the ultimate warrior.
It will involve kilometres upon kilometres of gruelling, timed racing on a challenging obstacle-ridden course that tests physical and mental ability.

Listening to the throngs of smiling participants from recent events, it is the infamous Mud Monster and the Tower of Rage that stand out for most.
The Mud Monster is a 100-metre stretch of mud, riddled with three-metre humps and three-metre dips.
The Tower of Rage is a 6,3 metre high platform that athletes jump from, into a pool of water.
It will be the first time since the race burst onto the scene in 2013 that Mbombela will host the event.

The spectator zone of 1,5 kilometres, including 12 obstacles, will be an amazing crowd puller, where family, fans and friends can cheer the contestants on.
Tickets can be bought at the registration table. Registration will take place the morning before the race from 06:30. Late entries are welcome.
When you have completed the race, don’t go anywhere – there will be an after-party featuring Jaydon D, Mr B, Ray D and Willice. Everyone is welcome.
Message from MC, Warrior Ric

No man is an island. It takes all types of unique individuals and organisations to make a success of anything.
The Jeep Warrior Race powered by Reebok is no different.
I’m full of gratitude for the generous hospitality of the people and businesses of the Mbombela region that have supported me and this growing obstacle-course race.
Looking forward to a weekend of beautiful, sunny weather, lots of mud and proud smiling soldiers wearing dog tags at the end of their adventurous obstacle run here at Kwanyoni Lodge. Be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram for updates on race days this Saturday and Sunday.
