The coaches had a full day with young players during the Puma Kids Clinic at Nelspruit Rugby Club on Friday.

This was during the holiday programme for children aged between six and 10.

Puma Kidz is an extramural activity held during school hours at the school grounds for preschoolers, and in the afternoons for learners aged seven to 12.

There are four clinics which are held annually, one each term and both girls and boys are welcome.

The programme is run by Hoffmann Maritz and Morné Crous. Crous said it was the last one for the year. The next one will be held early in 2019.

“The programme provides the kids with various things, including rugby skills and development. They grow and develop at their own speed. This is not about competition. It is always good to see kids growing and developing,” said Crous.

After their holiday programme, William Edwards from Dros Nelspruit treated them to a meal.
