Lowveld High School recently hosted an athletics meeting boasting three districts within the province – Mbombela, Nkomazi and WhiteHazy.

Since the beginning of the season, various subdistrict meetings were held to help determine who the team will be to partake in this event. From this event, a team were selected to represent Mbombela District at the Mpumalanga Championship, that was held this past weekend in Secunda. Following this meeting, the Mpumalanga team will be selected which will then represent the province at SAs.
