Graskop Shotokan reaches new heights

Graskop Shotokan recently had a grading and according to the instructor, Sensei Henry van Niekerk, the club is growing rapidly. 

Van Niekerk, a sixth dan with 45 years, experience, holds classes every Monday and Wednesday at 17:30. Young and old are welcome.

He said karate teaches one character, sincerity, effort, etiquette and self-control which ultimately leads to discipline.

Graskop Shotokan is part of the World Karate Association which is recognised worldwide.
