Endurance tested at Enduro in Lydenburg

Mud, roots and rocks were part of the route obstacles at the Mpumalanga Enduro race.

A total of 63 mountain bike riders competed in the Mpumalanga Enduro #2 on May 21 at Gustav Klingbiel Nature Reserve outside Lydenburg.

This was the second leg of the popular endurance mountain bike series and the riders made the most of the well-prepared and manicured routes. The riders had to concentrate on the rocky and muddy terrain.
The third race will take place on June 10 in White River, the fourth in September and the fifth in October.
