Another spirited and successful golf day in aid of KLCBT

Another successful golf day in support of the Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism (KLCBT) was held at Mbombela Golf Club on Friday May 24, with a day of great fun helping raise funds for the organisation.

The Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism (KLCBT) hosted yet another golf day at Mbombela Golf Club on Friday May 24, with just under 100 golfers taking to the greens in support of the organisation.

A golf day known for not being too serious, this year’s KLCBT event was played under an ‘international’ theme. This encouraged golfers to dress up in a way that represented any country from around the world, and more than a good few decided to showcase their South African pride by dressing up to represent our beloved country.

The format for the golf day was once again a scramble drive fourball alliance, two scores to count, with a shotgun start at 11:00. As per usual, this livened things up somewhat for the competition on the day, but it still wasn’t the overriding aspect of the day. Instead the gees was the dominating factor as 88 business people simply enjoyed a beautiful day out at Mbombela Golf Club.

The victorious team on the day was none other than Reynder van der Bank, Riaan Graaff, Duncan Morgan and Theo Naidoo on 114 points. In second place were Wayne Enslin, Stefan de Villiers, Buks Esterhuizen and Schalk Rheeder (107). They were followed by Six du Plessis, Johan Oosthuizen, Dillan Preddy and Shane Hartman (103).
