Ratels wallop Hazyview to qualify for finals

A flawless performance by the Laeveld Ratels booked them a final spot in the Ehlanzeni Rugby League 2022.
Ratels were on fire as they walloped Hazyview Rugby Club 69-5 at a packed Winterveldt Stadium in Steelpoort on Saturday.
The win gave hope to locals from Burgersfort, Ohrigstad and Steelpoort as most believe they can finally clinch the trophy.
“The final game is a derby against our neighbours Rooikatte (Lydenburg) that will be played at their venue in Lydenburg. We are hoping for support from all corners of Tubatse,” said Marius Weber, Ratels’ management.
The final is scheduled for Saturday August 13 in Lydenburg.
