Lexus NX introduced at showroom launch

Lexus has a reputation for, not just superb quality products but also excellent after- sales service and Lexus Nelspruit, part of the Imperial Group has just introduced a small group of clients and guests to its new showroom - also introducing its latest product offering at the event. The latter being the Lexus NX 2.0T.

The showroom, on the same premises as Imperial Toyota Nelspruit, reflects Lexus’s elegance and luxury and as group marketing manager Mario de Sousa explained, “Its intention is to be a place of homecoming for Lexus owners and prospective buyers.”

The NX is Lexus’ entry into the extremely competitive and fast-growing small or compact SUV market. In terms of technology, it is also groundbreaking for Lexus as it sees it venturing into the 2.0-litre turbo market. Lexus intends to install this engine in some of its other new products due to be released later this year.

This engine has been developed over a period of four years – it is punchy – delivers excellent torque – the NX offers exceptional roadholding and of course, as is custom to Lexus, offers luxury par excellence. Another interesting statistical titbit (believe it or not) is that Lexus owners seldom, if ever migrate to another brand. Launching this new showroom was a proud moment for Imperial Toyota dealer principal Brian Schrosbree.
“Eight years and many a challenge in- between and we can finally offer our Lexus clients a showroom equal to the quality of the product which they love. A milestone indeed.”

The NX was one of the products available during Autodealer Lowveld recent Women’s Choice Award event. Ten ladies drove the car and voted it as being Excellent+. It sure is a feather in Lexus’ cap.  It would be wise, if you are in the market for a new set of wheels in this price range, to book a test drive.
