You can now fly with your pet, here’s how
It is always a headache when we go on vacation when it comes to our pets. Now there is a solution.

It’s always a headache when planning a vacation, and to make it more difficult, you have a pet to worry about. It is difficult finding a shelter or a pet-sitter who you trust with your furry child.
These days you are able to take your pet with you on an aeroplane. There are however a few things to consider. Apart from service dogs, pets are not permitted within the cabin, so you have to consider your dog’s temperament if you choose this form of travel. It is also important to know your pet’s emotional state.
The cargo area can be noisy and crates tend to shift around. You have to take into consideration the duration of the flight and whether your pet will be able to tolerate the confined space for the duration of the flight. Make sure that the airline you are making use off, does offer this service. You must assure that you book your pet’s ticket on the same flight as yours, and take note that you will be paying by weight. Make sure beforehand that your pet will be comfortable. Buy a large enough crate with an absorbent mattress and a water bowl that is attached to it. It is a good idea to talk to your vet about possible ways to limit stress.
Ensure that your animal’s vaccinations are up to date.
It is easier to get clearance for cats and dogs than exotic pets. Pets under the age of eight weeks are not permitted to fly and those under the age of three months must be accompanied by their mother’s inoculation certificate. The last thing to remember is to not feed your pet prior to the flight; it may cause nausea and vomiting. It is possible for your pet to experience a pleasant flight if you make all the necessary arrangements and know what to expect.
