Support local singers in award winning musical
A concert to meet the artists of Lowveld Beauty and the Beast will be held on Sunday.
MBOMBELA – A tale as old as time will come alive on the stage later this year. The ever-popular musical Beauty and the Beast will be performed in the city from October 22 to 26 under the watchful eye of locally acclaimed producer and director, Felicia Lemmer. Lemmer needs little introduction to local audiences and took on the challenge of staging the much-loved production on the civic theatre stage.
The actors and singers have been rehearsing for months, and to give lovers of music a taste of the magic they can expect in the production, fans will have the opportunity to meet the cast this weekend. A sneak peak of the artists performing in the show will be held on July 29 during a variety concert.

According to Lemmer, the artists will perform songs of their own choice and audience members are in for a treat.
This preview concert will be held at Penryn Chapel and is scheduled to start at 15:00. Entry cost is R80 per person and R40 for primary schoolchildren.
