Jubilee Metal Group donates stationery packs to local school

BURGERSFORT – Djate Primary School received 250 packs of stationery as a donation from Jubilee Metal Group last Wednesday.
The learners were ecstatic to receive pens, rulers, erasers, drawing books and other school materials.

The packs will play a major role to learners who initially had to wait a couple of weeks to receive stationery from parents

“We are a mining company and from time to time we give back to the needy through various projects. We first conduct assessments and see with what we can assist as a company.

The school also received sanitisers

He added that they could not assist all pupils, but he believes the packs will play a meaningful role to those who were fortunate to receive them.

The pupils were excited for the donations.

The principal of Djate Primary School, PK Seloana, thanked Jubilee Metal Group for the donation as it addresses a pressing need.
“As a school we look forward to working with them in any way we can going forward. For us, this is a great initiative that does not only reward the school, but the community at large.”
