Two Rivers Platinum Mine donates tents to Lydenburg Hospital

Two Rivers Platinum Mine came to the rescue of Lydenburg Hospital with a donation of tents.

The hospital reached out the Lydenburg/Mashishing Business Chamber (LMBC) earlier this year as the patients have nowhere to wait for admission when the outpatient area and the wards are filled to capacity. This has been the case especially during the height of Covid-19.
“We greatly appreciate the trouble LMBC went through to buy these two tents on behalf of the mine and installing them for us. These tents will help us a great deal,” said the hospital’s medical manager, Dr Alex Kayembe.
