Young minds to benefit from book donation
As part of the FX30's social development initiatives, Flowrox SA donated over 170 library books to Ngwanathulare Primary School in the Ga-Malekana region, Limpopo. The school hosts 411 pupils and 11 dedicated teachers.
Alphios Malekane, an engineer at Northam Platinum Booysendal, nominated Ngwanathulare Primary School as he had attended the school. The handover arrangements were made by Phillip Thobejane, Flowrox SA sales representative. Guests were entertained by a touching poem recited by grade five pupils, thanking the sponsors for the books. “The importance of being able to read and write needs to be nurtured from a young age, and Flowrox hopes this donation will improve the lives of these young learners and take their minds to magical places,” said Henlo Blignaut, Flowrox SA’s managing director.
