ONE Plan kicks off the year with focus groups for catalytic projects

All indications are that tourism has made a great recovery, making pre-bookings to the Kruger Park all the more essential.

The Public Private Growth Initiative (PPGI) invites all stakeholders in Mpumalanga’s development to be a part of the progressive District Development Model and join the ONE Plan district development focus groups, on Monday January 23 at the Ehlanzeni District Municipality Chambers.

A statement from the Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism (KLCBT) said, “If you would like to assist in driving development and have the skills that could help us along the way, or if you have a great project that cannot be implemented due to some stumbling block, please attend these worthwhile focus groups.”

The KLCBT advises that projects should be catalytic and not just single, once-off projects.

“To populate and drive the ONE Plan successfully we will be meeting in groups to focus on the core drivers that were identified.”

• Agriculture and forestry: 10:00 to 11:00
• Tourism: 11:00 to 12:00
• Mining: 12:00 to 13:00
