Traffic disruptions expected as road maintenance starts on the N4/R570

Work on the underpass starts on Tuesday, January 24 and will last approximately two weeks.

Raubex has issued an update on its road maintenance schedule for the N4/R570 underpass.

Work on the underpass is set to start on Tuesday January 24, and will include the full stretch between the two road junctions.

A stop-and-go will be implemented from 08:30 to 16:00 on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 January. Normal traffic flow will resume after 16:00 daily.

There will be no work scheduled from Thursday 25 to Monday January 30.

The daily stop-and-go will then resume from Tuesday 31 January to Saturday February 4 to allow for the completion of the roadworks.

Once this has been completed a short section of the R570 will be resurfaced, from the N4 up to near the Paradise Creek entrance.
