New beginnings for SA’s official motor show
The year 2016 marks new beginnings for local motor shows with the launch of the SA Festival of Motoring, set to kick-start the process at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand.
Prepared fully to start the event is Audi’s Sport range of R and RS high-performance cars. According to Paul Sansom, head of Audi SA, the Ingolstadt-based carmaker is proud to be participating in the Festival of Motoring. He went on to say that the presence of Audi at the event will expose South African motoring enthusiasts to the Audi Sport range pf R & RS high-performance vehicles.
Good news is that Audi’s all-new supercar, the R8, will be one of the stars.
The vibrant, inaugural SA Festival of Motoring is the ideal occasion at which to celebrate motoring in South Africa. From vintage to classic cars to models that have recently reached our shores will be on show.

The Festival promises to be a crowd pleaser for both petrol-heads and families looking for an entertaining day out. This will be SA’s only official and premiere auto show, but has expanded its offering to feature attractions including food, fashion, kids’ entertainment and celebrity moments.
This is South Africa’s next must-do on the annual social calendar, rivalling events such as the J&B Met and SA Fashion Week.
Test Drive Dreams
Car aficionados will enjoy a unique opportunity to experience the new revamped, iconic South African race circuit. Visitors will now be able to experience a test drive in their dream car around the legendary circuit.
Fill Up with Fun
In terms of lifestyle offerings, the festival promises a one-of-a-kind event on the social circuit. Local fashionistas and designers are invited to add polish and glamour.
Favourite food trucks will be on hand to present premium “padkos” and live music will add to the vibe.

The 2016 SA Festival of Motoring will take place from August 31 – September 4, 2016 at the newly refurbished Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit & International Convention Centre in Midrand.
