Three children in KZN die after being mowed down by car

The kids were standing on the side of the road when they were knocked down by a car while en route to fetch water after school.


Both the Inkhatha Freedom Party (IFP) and African National Congress (ANC) have blamed the deaths of three children in the Nquthu region on the lack of basic services in the area, Zululand Observer reports.

Three learners from the Qedusizi High School were standing on the side of the road when they were knocked down by a car while en route to fetch water after school.

In a statement, the IFP KZN spokesperson on education, Thembeni Madlopha-Mthethwa, said if the ANC and its Cogta MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube did not dissolve the Nquthu Municipality, the IFP would have been providing municipal services, including water.
