A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death with a screwdriver in the early hours of Sunday, June 11, in Yeoville, in Johannesburg, City Buzz reports.
After a night out with friends, it was reported that the boy got into a heated argument with one of the other boys in the group, which soon turned violent.

“One stabbed the other one with a sharp object. He [victim] was then taken to a guesthouse where an ambulance was called. We are currently searching for one suspect who is on the run,” said police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubela.
According to a statement by Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha, the boy had already gone into cardiac arrest by the time they arrived on the scene, and efforts to resuscitate him were in vain.
