House owner kills robbers in Parkdene

The suspects found the owner of the house holding a firearm and shots were fired.


According to Lieutenant Colonel Mack Mngomezulu of the Ekurhuleni Central Cluster, the owner shot the robber, Boksburg Advertiser reports.

At the time of the incident, the complainant, who is a  Ekurhuleni Central Cluster, alleged she was outside and the main gate and the burglary door to the house was slightly open,” said Mngomezulu.

“When she tried to enter the house two unknown men emerged and one grabbed the complainant by her hair and told her not to scream while another the assailant took out a firearm. The suspects pushed the complainant inside the kitchen and they moved towards the bedroom, where they encountered the owner who was holding a firearm. Three shots were fired. The shot suspect was killed and the other with a firearm managed to flee.”

A case of attempted house robbery is investigated and the police are still looking for the suspect that fled the scene.
