‘I am prepared to kill for you,’ Malema told

The EFF leader's supporter had some familiar words for him.

EFF leader Julius Malema once told an ANC rally that: “We are prepared to take up arms and kill for [Jacob] Zuma”. This was during the days Zuma was facing charges of corruption.

When accused of inciting violence, the then ANC Youth League president told the SABC that “we are issuing a warning, an alert to those who think we are asleep, that we are watching them and that they should never test our patience”.

Now as the leader of his new party, the EFF, which managed to remove the ANC from three major metros during the local government elections, Malema is Zuma’s worst hater. He has on many occasions disrupted the president in parliament, and ridiculed him on many occasions.

After Malema tweeted that “we are not going to be insulted by kleptocrats in the name of trained soldiers and we keep quiet, bring it on” on Monday morning, one of his followers responded by saying that “I am prepared to kill for you my guy!”

It appears Malema was referring to the ANC in the tweet.

Malema on Sunday took to a stage in KwaZulu-Natal and said the ANC was an enemy of free education. He said “they hate free education because it’s true liberation. Colonisation took education from us. Claim it back! They hate education because it’s a threat to whites. When blacks are educated who will be domestic workers?”.

He said this while addressing a group of EFF supporters outside Durban’s Westville Prison on Sunday who were there in support of detained Fees Must Fall activist Bonginkosi Khanyile.

He said th ANC was the party “for white people”, adding that: “look at the Gautrain, who is it for? They only work for White people!”
