ANC has nothing to say about Khoza death threats

The BLF has denied sending the parliamentarian texts that told her she had ‘21 days to live'.

ANC communications officer Khusela Sangoni said death threats directed at Makhosi Khoza should be dealt with through the police ministry, Huffington Post reports.

Sangoni would not comment further on Khoza’s life being in danger and if there were any steps taken to secure her safety.

Khoza took to Facebook last week Friday to share WhatsApp text messages she had received from an unknown number. The number is reportedly registered to Andile Mngxitama’s BLF party. Mngxitama has since denied this, saying his party did not threaten black people or political nonentities.

Khoza has spoken against corruption and greed in the ruling party and has advocated for a revolution.

“I’m a victim of liberation struggle credentials fatigue. It is very hard to leave one’s political  home voluntarily … I would to see South Africans united behind one mission that we all share and that is ‘Prosperity, Honesty, Quality and Human Dignity’.

“Let them push me out. Maybe I’ll be free from the liberation struggle credentials fatigue, and possibly I might just offer an alternative to our racially, economically and morally divided society.”
