Woman’s body discovered on Durban highway

The woman was discovered lying face down on the side of the M4 Ruth First highway.


Police are investigating the death of a woman found on the side of the M4 Ruth First Highway in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) on Sunday, North Glen News reports.

The body of the deceased woman, believed to be in her forties, was found by Marshall Security.

Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen said the cause of death was unknown. “We discovered the woman lying face down on the side of the M4 Ruth First Highway,” Van Reenen said.

The South African Police Services will investigate further.

In December last year, the charred remains of a man’s body that was found next to a bus stop on Ridgeside Drive in uMhlanga, KZN. The body was discovered by members of the public.
