Man shoots girlfriend at police canteen, goes to hospital to shoot her again
He tried to commit suicide shortly after firing at police.

A paramedic was arrested last night after he shot his girlfriend numerous times at a police canteen in KwaZulu-Natal before following her to hospital, in an attempt to shoot her again.
The man fired seven shots at his girlfriend after 10pm last night, reports the Northern Natal Courier.
She was rushed in an ambulance to hospital where she died.
The man then followed her to hospital in his own vehicle, in an attempt to finish the job.
He shot another woman at the hospital, before fleeing to Nquthu.
Police gave chase but the man fired shots at them before trying to commit suicide.
