WATCH: Metro Cop crashes through wall of Roodepoort house

The crash was caused by a motorist who failed to stop at a stop sign, clipping the metro vehicle, which was driving fast, causing it to veer out of control.

Well-known local motor mechanic Francois du Toit was busy cooking on Sunday afternoon when an Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) vehicle crashed through his property’s perimeter wall, reports Roodepoort Record.
