Let us continue to pray for our country this festive season

This festive season, let’s be still and seek God’s face, praying for peace in the world; praying for our government, pastors and families.

There is, indeed, so much hurt and pain in the world, especially in our country.

The unemployment rate is the highest among youths between 15 and 24, at around 61 per cent. South Africa failed to take meaningful measures to improve protection of social and economic rights,
which have been undermined by widespread unemployment, inequality, poverty, the government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and corruption.

The wars in Africa and the Middle East, nations rising up against nations just as the word of God stated in the last days and all these signs are as clear as daylight.
Our people are suffering, depressed, hopeless and hungry, with the cost of living at its highest, food and fuel prices, and the daily challenges we face.

This festive season, let’s be still and seek God’s face, praying for peace in the world; praying for our government, pastors and families. It’s important to pray for God to touch our hearts with the unforgiveness among families and nations.

May God Almighty bless our beautiful country and all nations across the world with a peaceful, blessed Christmas and a prosperous 2024.

Remember, our leaders, pastors, elders, and public servants are all only human and can make mistakes; so let’s always keep them in our prayers.

Psalms 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”
