Members of the local Korean Karate club competed in the first Arnold Classic games hosted by the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger at Sandton City from 27 to 29 May. They competed in the Martial Arts part of the event, co-hosted by Martial Arts South Africa.
The results are as follows:
Ruan van der Berg – gold and bronze; Hanke de Kock, André Lerm – 2 x gold; Imke de Kock – gold and silver; Cara de Kock – gold.
Nicholas Chihanga, Janco Havenga – silver; Thabiso Motsumi – 2 x silver; Emma Witten – gold, silver and bronze; Ivelin Ivanov – 2 x silver; JC Willey – gold and 2 x bronze, Cael Witten.
Absent – Ameldia van Zyl – 2 x gold and 2 x silver; André van Rooyen, Brandon Lee Stewart, Delano Petersen, Thami Vavane, Vuyiswa Vavane.
