The Bizhub Highveld Lions will want to get their Momentum One Day Cup season on track at their happy hunting ground in Potchefstroom on Wednesday, 27 February.
They will be up against a dangerous Titans side at Senwes Park.

The Lions’ previous two matches in the tournament ended with no results due to rain and they will want to bag their first win of the competition.

The Lions can count on regulars like the Proteas, Reeza Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen in the batting department, while the all-rounders, Dwaine Pretorius and Wiaan Mulder will also look to contribute with bat and ball in hand. The local North West players, Van der Dussen and Wihan Lubbe will also look to make their mark on home turf if given a chance.

The Titans have a potent bowling attack with the likes of the Proteas, Junior Dala, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi and Chris Morris hungry for wickets. They will not be pushovers in the batting department, either, with Henry Davids and Tony de Zorzi in wonderful form with the willow.

The match promises to be a run-fest under the Senwes Park lights as the day/night encounter will give ample opportunity for local cricket fans to see some of their Proteas heroes in the franchise-coloured kit.

The match will start at 13:30.
