The 2019 Standard Bank Regional Performance Centre (RPC) under 16 cricket tournament is currently underway in Potchefstroom from 26-29 March with 12 teams from various provinces competing for glory.

The RPC week takes various community cricket hubs across the country as well as the CSA regional performance centre’s top players to compete in a week where competition and camaraderie go hand in hand.

These players may lack the resources but with the help of the RPC’s has developed into talented young cricketers who are ready to take their game to the next level.

The twelve sides are divided into four groups with Boland, Free State and Northern Cape in group A, Border, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Northern in group B, Eastern, SWD and Western Province in group C and Eastern Province, Gauteng and Mpumalanga in group D. Although North West is hosting the tournament it does not have a team involved in the competition.

Matches are played in 50 overs format with the winners being decided at Senwes Park on Friday, 29 March.

Today, matches are taking place at Boys High A, B and C fields, Ibbies Oval, NWU-Puk Oval, and the NWU Soccer Oval.
