The 2019 Varsity Cricket launch, which was held at the library lawns on the NWU Potchefstroom Campus today, was filled with big sixes, smashing fours and bucket loads of fun as men’s and ladies hostels joined together in pairs to battle it out for the “mini cricket” title.
This was just one of the fun attractions at the event, where students could win numerous prizes and get a first glimpse of the entertainment ahead next week, when the tournament starts on Monday, 2 September.
