Dragons and KZN Inland set to do battle this weekend

Yassar Cook and Nic Smit will want to continue their form with the bat this year when they face KZN Inland in Pietermaritzburg. 

The North West Dragons play their first 3 Day Provincial and 1 Day Provincial Cup matches in the new decade this coming weekend (23-27 January) at the Pietermaritzburg Oval. The first day’s plat could not get underway yesterday as rain interrupted proceedings.

The North West Dragons squad to face KZN Inland features a couple of regulars as well as former Proteas left arm spinner and Lions regular, Aaron Phangiso. Brady Barends will once again captain the side with Ruan Haasbroek taking on wicket keeper duties.

Jon Hinrichsen and Chad Classen will provide the pace up front with Johannes Diseko and Phangiso providing left arm spin as a duo. Yassar Cook and Nic Smit will want to continue their form with the bat this year.
