Young cricketers show skills at KFC Mini Cricket festival

NW Dragons players Delano Potgieter and Heino Kuhn were also on the field to give tips and support the budding young cricketers.

South Africa’s leading cricket development programme is celebrating 40 years of changing lives in communities.

This season, the KFC Mini-Cricket programme returned to fields across South Africa with a mega festival across the country on 20 August 2022.

Hundreds of children participated in the Mini Cricket Festival that North West Cricket hosted at the J.B. Marks Oval. NW Dragons players Delano Potgieter and Heino Kuhn were also on the field to give tips and support the budding young cricketers.

Through the dedication of the KFC Mini-Cricket coaches and coordinators, the kids once again got an opportunity to play the sport they love and create new friendships.
