The North West Dragons’ poor run of form continued when they were comprehensively beaten by the Boland Rocks by 5 wickets (D/L) on Saturday, 29 October.
Clyde Fortuin 57 (29) made batting look easy in the chase of 151 for victory.
Rain intervened with the Boland Rocks on 68/1 after 7 overs, but Fortuin and Janneman Malan 34 (28) continued to punish the Dragons bowlers.
The Dragons picked up a couple of wickets at the end, bit it was not enough to stop the Rocks from picking up a victory.

The NW Dragons were sent in to bat first and compiled 150/5 in their 20 overs largely due to a captain’s innings from Heino Kuhn who hit 58 (44) and Lesego Senokwane who managed 46 (43).
The Dragons made a solid start for the first time in the tournament as they only lost one wicket in the first 10 overs. This laid the foundation for a defendable total.
Boland Rocks’ Hardus Viljoen bowled economically to take 1/13 in 4 overs.
